If you do work without the proper permits and something serious happens, insurance will not cover it. So get the permits.
Unrealistic Budgets
Make sure your budget has some padding. You never know what you are going to find behind a wall. Usually, the biggest cost in a renovation is labor, so don’t underestimate what the cost is going to be.
